We have aligned ourselves with excellent delivery partners, yet there may be times when, despite our best efforts, the parcel may be delayed in the delivery process. At all times we will endeavour to work with our delivery partners to ensure timely delivery of your order. Our customer service number is 08456 017 262 and is open weekdays from 9.00am - 5.00pm.
Availability
We aim to hold all items in stock at all times. However, sometimes a product is even more popular than we expected, and because some of our suppliers are small family firms, there may be occasional delays. If so, we will contact you and give you our best estimate of delivery times and endeavour to keep you informed.

How much do you charge for delivery?
Goods are normally dispatched within 24 hours of receiving your order. This service costs just £4.95 per order. By contributing this small amount towards the cost of packing and sending the goods it enables us to keep the price for each item as low as possible - often, when other companies offer 'free' delivery, the delivery charge is built into each item so that you do pay for delivery, and, if you buy more than one item, you could end up paying a delivery charge several times over. Our customers have often told us that they prefer our system.
Although we always dispatch all orders as soon as possible, you should allow up to seven working days for delivery. For deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and Islands there is a delivery charge of £6.95.

Return to topHow do I know that my credit card details will be secure?
We aim to make our online transactions as secure as possible. The checkout process is performed on our secure server which will encrypt all your input making it impossible for any data transmitted from your computer to be intercepted by others. Credit card transactions are performed by Protx who are a secure e-commerce provider. Protx will take your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then be returned back to our website to finish the transaction. For this reason the only information we keep is whether your transaction is successful or not. No credit card details are kept on the Armorica website.
Return to topHow do I dispose of my used electrical goods?
WEEE Regulations:
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE) Regulations are now U.K. law. All European member States including the U.K. have agreed to reduce the amount of WEEE that is being disposed of in landfill sites.
It is important that the amount of WEEE sent to landfill sites is reduced because:
- Some WEEE can be re-used or recycled. The amount of landfill space available in the UK is decreasing. If we can keep WEEE out of landfill sites it means there is more landfill space available for non-recyclable waste.
- WEEE can contain hazardous substances. When left in landfill sites the hazardous substances in WEEE can pollute soil and contaminate water supplies. This contamination can damage human health and the environment.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (or EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Armorica have "done our bit" by helping to fund the improvement of the UK's recycling network. This means that you can not return your WEEE to us for disposal. You can however return your WEEE to a local Civic Amenity site for free.
To find your nearest site use the link below:

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste.
